Presidents Report

This month instead of our scheduled Club night on October 9th, we had a visit to the Dunedin Botanic Garden Aviary on Sunday the 12th, thanks to all those that turned up. This was very interesting and informative, with Tim giving the 22 members present, an insight into the management and feeding regime that he has employed to successfully breed both Native and Exotic species. This was a great outing for the Club, with excellent weather & our expert guide available to answer questions. Another missed opportunity for those that didn't attend. It is with sadness that I inform the members of the sudden death of Neville Anderson, due to an accident. Neville will be missed by his friends and fellow bird breeders.

Next Club Night

The Horse Racing Industry

"We have invited a speaker for our club night. Hec Anderton will talk on his experiences in the Horse racing industry. Hec has a long association with horses, both personally but also through his family connections. While this subject is not bird related, Hec is an active member of our club. This should be both interesting and entertaining. Members are asked to make the time to attend our regular meetings as this can be beneficial for all concerned."
