A collection of information & wisdom on birds and the club.
The country's oldest bird club, our members keep a variety of birds, from canaries, zebra finches, and budgerigars to quail, finches, parrots, cockatiels, british birds and more. We have some very experienced and knowledgeable people, including show judges and award-winners, past and present.
The club meets on the second Wednesday of every month, where members can discuss their particular bird interest, find answers to difficulties or problems, glean advice from experienced breeders and showers, and there is usually a "speaker for the night" who presents an interesting talk.
Club nights are held the second Wednesday of every month, starting at 7:30pm. The meetings are held at the Caversham Baptist Church, South Rd, Dunedin.
New members are always welcome!
